My favourite cafe in the city centre. So cute and cosy and the coffee and cakes are always exceptional. Coming here with friends or on a solo date is fun no matter what and I guarantee there’s something for everyone to try here. This place has become a staple for me and I can’t wait to explore more of the menu. Also love how they are one of only places serving hojicha latte, I tried my first one here & loved it
Impeccable service in a cozy coffee shop in the heart of Chinatown. They use and source remarkable coffees from across the UK and Europe. Made with meticulous care it’s a great small shop for those looking for great drinks and a short stop in their busy days. Wouldn’t reccomend working from this coffee shop. Makes more sense to go and enjoy and coffee and a fantastic cookie/ cake then make room for others looking for the same
Absolutely loved my visit to Ocha! I have been there so many times that I have now tried all the shaved ice cream flavours and each one was a treat: refreshing, smooth, and bursting with unique taste. The variety is impressive, and every flavour had its own charm. A perfect dessert spot with a chill vibe and lovely service. If you’re in Birmingham and have a sweet tooth, Ocha is a must-visit!
Food are really good, great environment and a nice place for a short afternoon gathering with my friend. Especially like their dessert. Nice iced coffee for me and my friend who has ordered a matcha latte. Best matcha latte in Birmingham which helps us forgot all the bad things of the day. A must visit place in Birmingham. Also, It is a pet-friendly shop.
Recommended! So glad we don’t have to travel down to London for great little cakes anymore, I’d say their cakes rival the likes of WA cafe etc. Looking forward to try more flavours!
A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Quality! This cafe is undoubtedly the best in the area when it comes to quality. While it may be a bit tricky to spot on a sunny day due to reflections, it’s well worth seeking out. We had a lovely short break here, enjoying a pistachio Spanish latte, a matcha latte, and a matcha roll, each one was excellent. Looking forward to returning for more!

I ordered a Spanish latte, mango tiramisu, and strawberry tiramisu, and everything was absolutely delicious! The coffee was rich and well-balanced, while the cakes were full of flavor—soft, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I highly recommend OCHA CAFE for anyone looking for a great spot to enjoy tasty coffee and desserts. If you’re a fan of amazing tiramisu and well-made coffee, this place is definitely worth a visit!
really kind baristas, and good explanation of speciality beans, which change seasonally. The drinks are not too expensive, I spent around 8 for an iced peach matcha latte with a pistachio sea salt matcha cookie. I came here to study and it had really ambient, calm, jazz music which wasn’t too loud or distracting. It was a Wednesday morning so it wasn’t too busy. One downside is that there is no toilet or WiFi :( but the food, drinks, kind staff and atmosphere outweigh this!! it was my second time here and I‘ll keep continuing to come because it is so nice
